Due to the specially certified land it grows on, Jordan Organic Olive Oil tastes a bit earthy. The usually mild Jordan Olives have a wilder character in this oil.

Jordan Olive Oil is a family business which is now run by the 3rd generation of Bastian Jordan’s family. His grandparents, Doris & Thomas Kerner, emigrated to the Greek Island of Lesbos in 1989. There they acquired their first olive grove with Bastian’s parents, Heidi and Rolf Jordan. Surrounded by over 100 olive trees, the family home was built. Shortly after the family harvested their first olives. The preparation for their oil is carried out with the most modern equipment and according to the provisions of the European Union. The olives for Jordan’s olive oil come exclusively from our own vineyards and from other families vineyards from the mountainous region on the island of Lesbos. They are harvested by hand and are processed naturally. Any cloudiness and sediment are naturally characteristics are a sign of natural and high quality workmanship.
