Recheis “Sternchen” are small star-shaped pasta and one of the most popular types of pasta added to soups in Austria – whether it is a clear broth or a creamy stew. Kids in particular love these tiny little shapes. The secret lies in the ingredients: the finest durum wheat semolina, the best eggs and fresh water from the Karwendel nature reserve – a true Austrian classic!
Tip: The pretty little stars are also perfect for a pasta salad – a great idea for a children’s birthday party.
Note: Cook Recheis Goldmarke pasta in a large pot with salted water (1 litre of water per 100 grams of pasta). Follow the cooking time indicated on the package.
